Is it January 2nd yet? No? Sort of feels like the race already started… We’re excited to see so many folks signed up not just for the Knik 200 but also for the Knik 100 which will only be the second time we’ve held that race. Both races have a great mix of familiar names and rookies.
The Knik 200 field of 40 teams filled up in 33 minutes today. The Knik 100 field of 10 teams filled up in 8 minutes. If you’re still thinking about putting in an application, we strongly encourage you to do that. Teams on the waiting list are not required to pay the entry fee until or unless they are moved to the main field so what do you have to lose?
We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes preparing for the 2016 races. As always, our goal is to have an even better race than ever before and to make it as exciting and fun as possible for teams as well as fans.
Let the racing season begin and let it snow, snow, snow (but not too much)!
